The sky is filled with risks // How the war affected air traffic with Israel
[ad_1]
As a result of hostilities in Israel, many airlines have canceled flights to the country, including the Russian Red Wings. The second carrier operating direct flights from Russia, Azimut, has so far left daytime flights to Tel Aviv from Sochi and Minvod, but their continuation depends on whether it is possible to find a solution for aircraft insurance taking into account military risks. The Federal Air Transport Agency has banned night flights to Israel. Israeli EL AL continues flights, including to Moscow, offering passengers free exchange or rescheduling of departure if desired. The country’s main airport, Ben Gurion, is operating, although about a third of flights on October 8 were canceled or delayed.
