A hacker attack was made on the website of the administration of Tula. As a result, the data of 7,000 site users could have been leaked. Information about this is checked by law enforcement agencies, the city administration said.

Hackers attacked the site of the administration on the night of today, August 8th. A photo with a phrase in Ukrainian was placed on the main page of the site, as well as an audio recording of the Ukrainian anthem. Now, when trying to access the site, the server gives a “not found” error, Kommersant was convinced.

“Specialists are working to eliminate the consequences of a hacker attack and restore the site. The administration of Tula is cooperating with law enforcement agencies in terms of establishing all the circumstances of the incident, including the issue of leaking data from users of the site’s services, ”a representative of the administration told reporters (quoted from “Interfax”).
