Soviet and Ukrainian singer Vitaly Bilonozhko died
People’s Artist of Ukraine Vitaly Bilonozhko died at the age of 70.
Local media reported the singer’s death on January 9. The reason is not stated.
Vitaly Bilonozhko began his pop career while studying at the Kyiv Conservatory, and from the early 80s he worked as a soloist of the State Television and Radio of Ukraine. The most famous compositions performed by him were the works of Maxim Dunaevsky “Everything will pass” and “City Flowers”. In the 90s, together with his wife, People’s Artist of Ukraine Svetlana Belonozhko, he founded the international festival of family creativity “Melody of Two Hearts”. In the 2000s, Vitaly Bilonozhko continued to perform in concert programs, and also taught at the Kiev University of Culture and Arts.
