The Sibanthracite group has changed its owner

Bashkir Industrial Holding acquired the enterprises of the Sibanthracite group. About it reports press service of the coal mining company.
“The management of the coal company has been transferred to the previous team of top managers headed by General Director Sergei Melnikov,” the statement says.
Bashkir Industrial Holding will become a long-term strategic investor of the group, which is interested in its development. According to the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, the company owns 100% of the Sibanthracite group. Changes to the register were made on November 8, 2023.
The Sibanthracite Group is Russia’s largest producer of metallurgical coals. At the end of 2022, production volume amounted to 24.55 million tons, according to the company’s website. Last year, the company reported revenue of RUB 345.83 billion.
The group owns the companies Razrez Kolyvansky and Razrez Vostochny in the Novosibirsk region, as well as Razrez Kiyzassky and Razrez Verkhneteshsky in the Kemerovo region. In 2023, Sibanthracite acquired licenses for two more sites in Kuzbass – “Razrez Kuznetsky Yuzhny” and “Razrez Malinovsky”.
