The Moscow Academic Theater of Satire canceled five more performances after the fire that occurred on January 28. Evening concerts were canceled that day, as well as two performances on January 31.

On the main stage reported in the theater, the performance “The Kid and Carlson Who Lives on the Roof” scheduled for February 4 will be cancelled. On the stage of the “Attic of Satire”, “Three Floors Above” (February 1), “This Child” (February 2), “Tango for a Million” (February 3), “My Dear Ones” (February 4) were canceled.

The theater promised to return money for tickets or exchange them if the audience wishes for other dates.

January 28 on the roof of the theater happened fire on an area of ​​250 sq. m. According to preliminary information, the cause of the fire was non-compliance with safety precautions during repairs. In September 2023, it was reported that a major overhaul of the facade and dome of the theater had begun – it was planned to dismantle the old metal profile of the dome.
