The Samolet group of companies announced the signing of a deal to acquire 100% of the MIC Group from the majority shareholders of the group – Andrey Ryabinsky, Alexander Kopylkov and other individuals, reported press service “Airplane.” To close the transaction, permission was received from the Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia.
The press release states that as part of the deal, Samolet acquired 11 projects in the design stage and 50 companies included in the MIC. They will be integrated into the Moscow business unit, which is responsible for the implementation of projects in the capital and the Moscow region. The deal should contribute to a return on investment for more than 150 thousand shareholders of Samolet Group of Companies, the press service reported.
The structuring of the transaction on the part of the MIC Group was handled by the Moscow Credit Bank (MCB), and on the part of Samolet – VTB, which also provided financing for the agreement in full. The press release emphasizes that all obligations of the MC GC are transferred to Samolet and will be fulfilled in full.
GC MIC was founded in 1999. The founder and chairman of the board of directors is Andrey Ryabinsky. The group’s portfolio includes more than 5 million sq. m of housing, about 630 thousand sq. m. m – under construction. According to the Unified Resource of Developers, it ranks ninth in terms of volume of ongoing construction in Moscow and seventh in the Moscow region.
Samolet Group of Companies is one of the backbone organizations of the Russian Federation. The main shareholders are Mikhail Kenin and Pavel Golubkov. According to the Unified Resource of Developers, it ranks second in terms of volume of current construction in Moscow and first in the Moscow region.
