Following the trading results on October 11, the Russian stock market updated its monthly maximum, close approaching to the mark of 3200 points. Among the leaders in growth were shares of Polymetal and LUKOIL.
Today’s trading ended at 3190 points. The last time the Moscow Exchange closed trading at similar levels was on September 4.

Polymetal shares were the leaders of the day’s growth: during trading, the securities rose by 4.38% against the backdrop of rising gold prices and reports that the company would repurchase another 2,500 ordinary shares as part of an exchange offer. The leaders in decline were shares of Tatneft, which lost 3.26%.
The RTS Index at the close of trading was 1005.24 points (+0.9%); The price dynamics of blue chips on the Moscow Exchange turned out to be mixed within 4.8%.
