Revenue of kicksharing operators (per-minute rental of scooters. – Vedomosti) in Russia in 2021–2024 will grow almost 7 times – from 9 billion to 60.4 billion rubles. This is stated in the review of the kicksharing market of the consulting company B1 (former EY). Vedomosti got acquainted with the document.
It is assumed that the growth of the sector will occur due to an increase in the density of coverage of cities by means of individual mobility (IM), which include electric scooters. The expansion of rental services to new cities, the growth in the number of rides on a scooter in addition to the use of public transport, and the development of urban infrastructure will also play a role, the review says.
