“The encyclopedia is located on Russian servers and declares respect for the requirements of the legislation of the Russian Federation and our traditional values. This means that any attempts to give the articles a left-liberal and Western-centric bias will be suppressed,” wrote State Duma deputy Anton Gorelkin in his Telegram channel.
Mr. Gorelkin said that former editors of the Russian-language Wikipedia are working on the project. “The authors transfer the content of the Russian Wikipedia to themselves, cleaning articles from propaganda and malicious content,” he added.
