Deputy Prime Minister of Chechnya Yakub Zakriev has been appointed General Director of Danone Russia. Changes have been made to the Unified State Register of Legal Entities.
From the extract it follows that Zakriev headed the company from July 18.
Zakriev has worked in the government of Chechnya since 2013 and has held various leadership positions. From 2018 to 2020 he was the mayor of Grozny. After that, he returned to the government of the republic, where he also served as Minister of Agriculture. At the moment, there is no information about Zakriev’s positions on the government website. In June 2023, he was awarded the title “Honorary Worker of the Agro-Industrial Complex of Russia”.
July 16 Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree according to which the shares in the Russian subsidiary of Danone, owned by foreign companies, are transferred to the provisional administration of Russia. According to the document, 83,000 and 85,000 Danone Russia shares owned by Produits Laitiers Frais Est Europe and Danone Trade were transferred to the Federal Property Management Agency.
By the same decree, the shares belonging to the structures of the Danish holding Carlsberg Group in the brewing company Baltika were also transferred to state management. Earlier on July 18, it became known that the enterprise headed Taimuraz Bolloev, who was in charge of the plant from 1991 to 2004.
