The ruble is strengthening on the Moscow Exchange

The dollar exchange rate in the course of trading on the Moscow Exchange went down by 1%, to 70.8 rubles/$. The euro loses 2.04% in price, dropping to 75.5 rubles/€. The yuan depreciates by 0.69% to 10.3 rubles.
The Moscow Exchange Index is growing by 0.41%, to 2165.18 points. The RTS index rises by 2.27% to 964.11 points.

At the beginning of 2023, the ruble weakened its position against the leading world currencies. Last week, the dollar exchange rate on the Moscow Exchange rose by 2.2 rubles to 72.12 rubles/$. With the return of exporters with foreign exchange earnings to the auction, analysts do not exclude the return of the exchange rate to 70 rubles / $.
