Restor LLC, part of the Inventive Retail Group, filed a lawsuit on November 28 against the Atlant-Park production and warehouse complex, located near Elektrostal in the east of the Moscow region. This follows from the materials of the Moscow Arbitration Court. The other defendants in the case file are Tikshoret (engaged in video surveillance systems) and 1001 Shelving (produces shelving), third parties are the insurance companies Sberstrakhovanie and Energogarant.
A representative of Inventive Retail Group explained that the lawsuit is related to a major fire that occurred in May this year. It covered 34,000 sq. m, completely destroying one of the buildings. As Izvestia wrote, it contained stock trading equipment (which, like re: Store, is also part of the Inventive Retail Group), as well as textbooks from the Enlightenment publishing house. The fire was located in a room with electronics, which was in the center of the warehouse, and emergency operation of the power grid and careless handling of fire were called as the causes of the fire, TASS reported, citing its source in emergency services. The representative of the Ministry of Emergency Situations did not respond to a request from Vedomosti about whether the cause of this fire and the perpetrators had been established.
