The Red Wings Boeing 777 plane took off from Moscow en route to Phuket (Thailand) after a multi-hour delay due to a malfunction of the aircraft, it follows from messages companies in the Telegram channel. Earlier it was reported that the flight was delayed by 12 hours. According to the company, the technical problem was resolved on site.
“Despite all the difficulties in servicing foreign equipment, the problem of operating the aircraft was successfully resolved,” Red Wings said in a statement. The plane took off from Moscow at 21:18 Moscow time. What kind of technical malfunction we are talking about is not specified.
The following flights of this aircraft will be operated according to the new schedule adjustment – WZ3040 Phuket 11:30 – Kazan 16:45; WZ3039 Kazan 19:10 – Phuket 07:30, follows from the company’s message.
February 21 Red Wings reported about the delay of six flights from different cities of Russia to Phuket and back by almost 12 hours. The flights were scheduled to take place on February 21-23. While waiting for departure, the company provided passengers with hotel accommodation, drinks and meals.
