Marketplaces should be removed from the moratorium on inspections of IT companies, such a proposal will be sent to the government by the public council under the FAS. The removal of marketplaces from the moratorium is necessary so that the FAS can analyze the activities of Internet platforms “for compliance with their actions in relation to suppliers, antitrust laws,” the protocol states. Information about the meeting of the public council on March 29 was confirmed to Vedomosti by a representative of the FAS. He also confirmed the information from the protocol with the intention to send an appeal to the government. According to him, the FAS “advocates an equal approach to all market participants.”
