However, according to the vice speaker of the Federation Council, it is necessary to spell out in the law the requirements for producers and distributors of “socially important information content.” “Authors must be held accountable for the quality and accuracy of publicly posted content,” the senator added. According to her, the opinion about the professional qualifications of the authors is often erroneous.

At the same meeting, State Duma deputy from United Russia Oleg Morozov proposed developing a mechanism for automatically blocking Telegram channels that recruit terrorists. According to the deputy, this can be done using artificial intelligence, which will search by keywords.
