The Prosecutor General's Office intends to return three CHEMS enterprises to the state - Kommersant

How did it happen? known to Kommersant The Prosecutor General's Office filed a claim with the Arbitration Court of the Sverdlovsk Region in order to return to the state three enterprises of the industrial group of the Chelyabinsk Electrometallurgical Plant (CHEMK). According to the supervisory authority, the privatization carried out in the 1990s was illegal.

The Prosecutor General's Office believes that the privatization procedure was violated because permission was not obtained from the Russian government. In addition, the authors of the lawsuit believe that three CHEMK enterprises have come under the control of residents of unfriendly countries, and the products are exported at a reduced cost to the USA and Europe.

The management of CHEMK intends to prove the legality of privatization. According to them, the company's products outside Russia are sent to metal traders for export, and not to the controlling shareholder.
