The Prosecutor General’s Office instructed to check the data on the violation of the rights of employees of Wildberries

The prosecutor’s office of the Moscow Region will check information about the violation of the labor rights of employees of the Wildberries marketplace on behalf of the Prosecutor General’s Office of Russia, informed press service of the supervisory authority in the Telegram channel.

The press service of the Prosecutor General’s Office of Russia explained that the check was organized according to information posted in the media about the violation of the labor rights of Wildberries employees, including “about illegal deductions of funds from their wages.”

“During the audit, a fundamental legal assessment will be given of the procedure for involving employees in the implementation of labor functions, paying them wages, adopting local acts establishing the rules for charging penalties that they are appealing,” follows from the message of the supervisory authority.

Formerly RIA Novosti reportedthat the owners and representatives of the points of issue of orders (POI) of the Wildberries online store are besieging the company’s office in Moscow due to dissatisfaction with the new working conditions. It is clarified that we are talking about collective responsibility and penalties for the return of goods.

The owner of one of the points told the agency that since August, Wildberries introduced penalties for pickup points for returning defective goods in the amount of 20% of its value. And already last week, the size of the sanction increased to 100%. According to another representative of the PVZ, the marketplace does not get in touch with entrepreneurs and does not explain changes in work.

At the same time in Wildberries declaredthat the information about the “strike” and the closure of the pickup point is not true, they continue to work regularly.
