A prototype service for the automated search for phishing sites has been created in Russia, the Prosecutor General’s Office said. A draft law has also been developed that regulates the blocking of such pages “using a specialized information system.” It is not specified whether this service is related to the monitoring system that the Ministry of Digital Development launched in the summer of 2022.
The Prosecutor General’s Office plans that the service will provide interaction with the Central Bank, Mintsifra, Roskomnadzor and other departments. “A functioning prototype of the system provides an automatic search for sites of the specified category,” the agency said. TASS.
