The amount of funds for the civil shipbuilding program until 2030 may reach 477 billion rubles, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Viktor Yevtukhov said at the WEF-2022 on September 6 (quotes from Interfax). More than 285 billion rubles. on preferential leasing of vessels can be financed from the NWF, he added. The State Transport Leasing Company (GTLK) should prepare an application after calculating potential demand and assessing the capabilities of shipyards by September 15, Yevtukhov said.

STLC General Director Yevgeny Ditrikh said that the company has developed a new preferential leasing program with the assistance of the National Welfare Fund, which will allow the delivery of 346 river and sea vessels in the next 10 years. According to him, it is also planned to build 150 passenger ships. “These vessels can be used for an interregional single operator of river transport,” Dietrich explained. The implementation of the new program, in his opinion, will make it possible to load capacities with serial orders, reduce costs and increase the localization of ships. Yevtukhov and Dietrich did not specify the specific parameters of the program, but, according to the deputy minister, the return of funds for it is planned after 2050.
