JSC Ilim Group, one of Russia’s largest producers of pulp and paper products, reduced its net profit under RAS to 17.4 billion rubles. This is 20% less than the company’s profit in 2022, when it amounted to 21.8 billion rubles. This follows from the data reporting “Ilim”.

The annual revenue of the Ilim group for 2023 increased and amounted to 184.9 billion rubles, showing an increase of 0.7%. The company’s cost of sales amounted to RUB 105.3 billion, compared to RUB 101.9 billion. in 2022.

The company’s profit before tax amounted to 23.2 billion rubles, which is 16.6% less than the profit for 2022 – 27.8 billion rubles.

In January “Ilim” announced about the start of production of office paper under the Russian brand of the same name. The company clarified that about half of the products are exported to China.

Russian timber companies, against the background of problems with the export of lumber, are increasing investments in deep processing, primarily in pulp and paper production and furniture production.
