The price of wheat on the trading stock exchange in Chicago rose to its highest since February, at $7,725 per bushel, up about 2.6%. As of 8:59 Moscow time, price growth has slowed down – wheat was trading at $ 7.524 per bushel.
Last week, the price of wheat increased from $230 per ton to more than $240 per ton amid Russia’s withdrawal from the grain deal, as well as attacks on Ukrainian ports on the Danube. According to experts, this season wheat exports from Russia will set a new record – up to 58.9 million tons.
