The November futures price at the TTF hub in the Netherlands fell on October 24 to €97.255 per MWh, or $989 per 1,000 cubic meters (prices for stock exchange ICE are presented in euros per MWh). The last time prices were at this level was in the first half of June.
Recall that the peak of price growth was recorded on August 26, when the cost of the September futures rose above $3.5 thousand per 1 thousand cubic meters after Gazprom announced a complete halt in supplies via Nord Stream. Recently, prices have been falling on the back of news about the filling of underground gas storage facilities in European countries and the warm weather that has settled in the region.
