In general, the Far Eastern ports were able to solve the problem with the handling of containers, the situation has improved compared to the end of 2022. This follows from the statistics on the loading of terminal capacities and data from the logistics companies Stalogistic, FM Logistic and Novelco, which Vedomosti has reviewed.

At the end of January 2023, there were 102,200 TEUs (the equivalent of a 20-foot container) in the ports of the Far Eastern Federal District. This is 20% less than in November 2022, a Vedomosti source familiar with the statistics of stevedores clarifies. Including 73,400 TEU is now at sea terminals (including 30,300 TEU of import and 39,400 TEU of export), at the rear terminals of Russian Railways – 10,300 TEU (7,700 and 2,600 TEU, respectively), “at sea” there were 18,500 TEU (7,500 TEU – on the roads, 10,950 TEU – on the way).
