The Russian government has approved an action plan for the implementation of the Pharmaceutical Industry Development Strategy until 2030. Its final version included the development of a bill that would make it possible to revise the amount of state fees for registration of drugs, drew attention RBC.

According to the document, the bill will be developed by June 2024. The Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Ministry of Economic Development and the Federal Antimonopoly Service were appointed responsible.

The question of revising the size of the state duty arose against the background of its growth – in 2022, its maximum amount increased from 75 thousand to 490 thousand rubles. The government also proposed creating advantages for manufacturers of domestic drugs, which are entirely created in the territory of the EAEU countries.

In total, the approved plan contains 40 activities, which are divided into eight blocks. These include supporting the production of medicines in Russia, developing the export of Russian medicines, improving the circulation of medicines, and others.
