In Nizhny Novgorod, the performance of the play “Einstein and Margarita” based on Alexander Gelman’s play “Almar” has been cancelled. The main roles in the production are played by Ksenia Rappoport and Alexey Serebryakov.
The organizers did not give reasons for the cancellation of the performance, but said that tickets can be returned to the box office.
Previously, the performance was canceled in Yaroslavl. The regional Ministry of Culture stated that the decision was made “taking into account public opinion.”
The Moscow Variety Theater, whose playbill announced the performance for February, told RIA Novosti that there are no plans to cancel it yet.
