The years go by, and the perpetual motion machine in the creative soul of the restless Anita Tsoi is only gaining momentum, keeping not only the artist, her fans, but also the whole family, including her husband Sergei Petrovich, bored. A serious man, a big boss for many years only watched from the side the vigorous activity of his wife – more often he approved, but sometimes he reprimanded. But in the end he couldn’t resist and went with his beloved singer wife on a big tour around the country.
Back in 2020, Anita released an album for the 75th anniversary of the Victory, covering in her own way famous songs that were addressed by many famous performers – from Joseph Kobzon to Lyudmila Gurchenko, including “In the Dugout”, “Sing to Me, Oriole”, “In the forest near the front”, “Cranes”, “Oh, roads” and other popular works.
On the “Russia is us” tour through the cities and towns of the country, Sergei Petrovich also popularizes sports by personal example, since, among other things, he is the president of the Karate Federation. A recording made from these concerts of the spouses singing the song “Scarlet Dawn” together has already spread across the Internet with numerous comments, congratulations and delight from admirers. Spectators write: “At concerts, people cry, sing, and give thanks.” “The Year of the Family is in its most concentrated incarnation,” others note.
The strict but fair husband admits that he now understands his wife much better, having known with her the hardships of touring life, and jokes that for the first time in decades of marriage they are together 24/7 – around the clock for weeks on end, and even at work, “united by a common idea and values.”
At the same time, Anita’s own values also force her to patronize a school for gifted children in Rostov-on-Don, while simultaneously holding an ethnographic festival throughout the country. Selects the best participants for a large production in Moscow of the musical “Necklace of Russia”, where Anita is the permanent leader, inspirer and mentor of the project.
“Tsoika’s Recipes” also lives and thrives. Having started as a hobby for an amateur gardener, Anita’s gastronomic passion has grown into a whole production. Another planting season is coming. All kinds of canned pickles now delight not only the singer’s friends and subscribers, but also random buyers in grocery stores and supermarkets. Volumes are growing, a small factory is being built, since Anita no longer has enough hands to roll everything by hand, as before, and the ones she had are all calloused.
We can only wish Anita Tsoi to continue to remain at the peak of her creative, creative and physical form, at which she celebrates her next birthday.

Meanwhile, Dieter Bohlen’s seventieth birthday risks becoming a quiet event, hidden from the public eye. Recently, the creator of Modern Talking has been leading a quiet life in the suburbs of Hamburg with his girlfriend, who is 31 years younger than him, and two children (in total, the musician has six offspring from different marriages). The storm of the charts of the 80s long ago chose a healthy lifestyle, prefers tennis to alcohol, is engaged in music production and, probably, rejoices in his honestly earned millions.
However, sometimes a musician is capable of spontaneous actions, such as his participation a couple of years ago in Alexander Revva’s video for the song “Summer at Fiesta,” which became a Russian-language remake of Cheri Cheri Lady. The special attitude towards Russia that Modern Talking has always had is now a little more difficult to demonstrate, but both Dieter and Thomas, who celebrated his sixtieth birthday last year, can be sure that they still have fans here.
Modern Talking is Dieter Bohlen’s most successful project. Twelve albums and twenty singles sold a total of 200 million copies, and at one music ceremony in Germany, a truck was needed to remove all the platinum and gold discs awarded to the group. In addition to Modern Talking, Dieter participated in the musical life of more than seventy artists: from CCCatch to Engelbert Humperdinck, from Bonnie Tyler to Chris Norman, whose career Bohlen actually rebooted with his song Midnight Lady.
It is surprising in its own way that the extensive resume of the hero of the day is difficult to consider as a reason for great musical pride. His hits aren’t the kind that end up on best-of lists, and his projects aren’t considered musical milestones. But this does not prevent the artist from feeling like a person who has made millions of people happy with his compositions.
