The Swedish Ingka Centers (the owner of IKEA and Mega) sold the Khimki business park, which housed the Russian headquarters. The area of the premises is 42 thousand square meters. m.
The new owners are indicated in the SPARK-Interfax certificate. Two consultants confirmed Vedomosti deal. According to one of them, Ingka Centers planned to receive a little less than 4 billion rubles for the asset. Experts interviewed by the newspaper estimated its cost at 4-6.3 billion rubles.
The buyer was KLS-Khimki, owned by Grigory Sahakyan (99%) and Arkady Danielyan (1%). Mr. Sahakyan, a former co-owner of Sovereign Bank (his license was revoked in 2016), is now developing the Reyouza online store selling clothes, household goods and cosmetics. He is also the CEO of Interskol Group LLC. It is known that the company owned the Interskol brand for the sale of power tools. It is not known why KLS-Khimki needed the complex.
IKEA suspended work in Russia in March 2022. In June 2022 she announced about leaving the market. By March 2023, the company sold all production sites. According to Vedomosti, Ingka Centers cannot find a candidate for its 14 Mega shopping centers.
