The number of vacancies in the manufacturing industries of the Russian industry has grown by 139% over the year, Artem Kumpel, managing director of the Avito Rabota platform, told RIA Novosti. The most demanded professions were millers, turners and grinders.

Mr. Kumpel said that in the first half of the year, the number of vacancies in the manufacturing industries increased by 72% compared to the previous half. He attributed this increase to the increase in production capacity in the country and the opening of new enterprises.

Milling operators were the most in demand — they were searched almost five times more often (+382%) over the year, and over the past six months, the number of offers increased by 124%. Almost the same growth for the year was recorded for turners (+335%), for the first half of the year the number of offers for them increased by 87%. They also began to search more often for welders (+154% for the year and +63% for six months), grinders (+125% for the year and +78% for six months), carpenters (+87% for the year and +25% for six months) and technologists (+82% for the year and +54% for half a year).

Samara (+175%), Moscow (+173%) and Tula (146%) were the leading cities in terms of growth in demand for industrial workers over the year. Salaries in this area grew by 22% year-on-year. The average salary in Russia is 51,789 rubles. per month.

SuperJob service also informedthat in the first half of the year the number of vacancies in industries increased by 1.5 times. In June, the growth of business activity in the manufacturing industry in Russia slowed down. Overall, analysts said that activity in the Russian manufacturing sector has risen for the 14th month in a row, as export orders resumed growth, providing support for new sales.
