US sanctions against the National Payment Card System (NSCP) will not affect the operation of payment services within the country, the company reported. Mir services and operations through SBP are available to customers in full, the NSPK press service noted.

“US sanctions against the National Payment Card System will not affect the operation of payment services within the country. Processing of transactions on cards of international payment systems issued by Russian banks continues to be carried out by NSPK as usual. The work of the services of the Mir payment system and operations through the Faster Payments System are carried out as usual and are available to users in full,” the company’s press service reported (quoted by TASS).

The company stated that on the payment system side there are no restrictions on working with foreign partners. In turn, foreign banks make the decision to accept the Mir card independently.
