The Ministry of Industry and Trade has resumed the program of preferential car leasing. 7.8 billion rubles will be allocated for its additional financing. The program will be available from September 8th. This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister and head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov.
“I would like to take this opportunity to say that starting tomorrow we are resuming the car leasing program, adding an additional 7.8 billion rubles. until the end of the year,” said Denis Manturov at the international exhibition of commercial vehicles Comtrans (quote from Prime). Additional funding will allow the sale of about 15 thousand cars, including electric vehicles.
According to Denis Manturov, additional funding is due to the fact that the funds allocated for the program have already been exhausted – 2 billion rubles were allocated for it in 2023.
In March, the Federation Council Committee on Economic Policy recommended to increase funding for the preferential car leasing program up to 10 billion rubles, the program for preferential car loans – up to 20 billion rubles.
