The Ministry of Finance proposed extending the family mortgage program at a rate of 6% per annum, launched in 2018, until the end of 2023. This is reported on site draft normative legal acts. The program is valid until the end of 2022.
“The implementation of the provisions provided for by the draft resolution will allow families with children to receive a mortgage housing loan (loan) at a reduced rate until July 1, 2024, provided that a child is born in the family before December 31, 2023 (inclusive),” follows from the explanatory note .
According to the Ministry of Finance, more than 372,000 families have taken out a family mortgage for a total amount of 1.3 trillion rubles during the program.
Initially, the following amounts were allocated to finance the program: 2022 – 28.6 billion rubles, 2023 – 40.6 billion rubles, 2024 – 43.3 billion rubles. If we take into account the proposal of the Ministry of Finance, then the support will amount to 84.6 billion rubles in 2023, 72.6 billion rubles in 2024, and 43.9 billion rubles in 2025.
The Family Mortgage program is a preferential loan for the purchase of housing at 6% for families with a child born from January 1, 2018 to December 31, 2022. The maximum loan amount is 12 million rubles. for Moscow, the Moscow region, St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region, for other regions – 6 million rubles.
On May 4, the government introduced a preferential mortgage program for IT professionals. It is designed for 5% per annum, you can get a loan until the end of 2024. Yesterday, August 11, Ministry of Digital Development suggested reduce the rate under the program by 2%.
