On July 10, it became known that Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak instructed The Ministry of Energy and the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) should work out the issue of quoting oil product exports from Russia by August 3, as well as prepare a joint order to increase the standards for sales of gasoline and diesel fuel on the stock exchange by 1%. Today, the Ministry of Energy announced the development of draft relevant acts, transmits TASS.
On June 28, the Ministry of Energy reported that the increase in wholesale prices for gasoline will not have a significant impact on the cost of fuel at gas stations. The agency explained that the increase in gasoline prices in May-June is associated with the first wave of scheduled repairs at the refinery, but production is already gradually stabilizing as these works are completed.
On May 30, Novak held a meeting, including with the participation of the FAS and oil companies. Based on its results, he instructed to ensure uniform and regular sales of gasoline and diesel fuel on the stock exchange to cover the needs of the domestic market, including independent gas stations. In mid-June, the FAS called on oil companies to increase sales of gasoline on the stock exchange.
