The Ministry of Digital Development has published a draft resolution, which proposes to reduce the rate on preferential mortgages for IT specialists to 3%. Now the rate is 5%.
“Changes are being made in terms of the size of the preferential rate on a mortgage loan. The new version of the rules provides that the maximum rate on loan agreements concluded after the entry into force of the draft resolution will be 3 percent per annum, ”the explanatory note to the document published on regulation.gov.ru.
Preferential mortgage is available to IT-specialists from 22 to 44 years old inclusive with an income of 150 thousand rubles. per month before the deduction of personal income tax for cities with a population of at least 1 million people and from 100 thousand rubles. per month for cities with a population of up to 1 million people. At the moment, the maximum rate is 5% per annum, the initial payment is at least 15%.
