The Ministry of Culture is studying the security of public events after the terrorist attack – Kommersant

The Russian Ministry of Culture is working on the issue of protecting public events and cultural objects, said Minister Olga Lyubimova. She noted that standards and rules exist, and this issue will be updated at the upcoming meeting of the department with law enforcement agencies.

The minister noted that this is not only about protecting events, but also about creative universities, hostels, museums and libraries.

The terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall occurred on March 22 before the start of the concert of the Picnic group. Armed people burst into the building, started shooting and set the building on fire. At least 143 people were killed, and another 360, according to the disaster medicine center, were injured.
