The mayor of Krasnodar called for the cancellation of the concert of Ani Lorak because of her position on the special operation

Krasnodar Mayor Yevgeny Naumov called the cancellation of Ani Lorak’s concert scheduled for April 27 “inevitable” in his city. He stated that the reason for the cancellation of the performance was the singer’s position on the military operation in Ukraine.

“I want to share my opinion on the inevitable cancellation of the concert of the singer Ani Lorak in Krasnodar. We, the residents, are against the fact that in our city “put on a show” by people who confess their love to the ruling authorities in Ukraine, who are fighting against us, ”wrote Mr. Naumov in Telegram channel.

According to him, not a single actor, singer or singer who has “such a position regarding the SVO” will earn money in Krasnodar. “We cannot guarantee that in the end this money will not go to support those who are fighting against our guys, supplying them with shells and ammunition,” the head of the city concluded.

Karolina Kuek (stage name – Ani Lorak) is a singer from the city of Kitsman in the Chernivtsi region of Ukraine. In September 2022, she published on her website an open letter, in which she stated that she stands for peace and loves Ukraine. “I am for the world! And I ask this world for all of us! I believe that there are many more good people than bad ones. And good sooner or later conquers evil!” the singer wrote in a letter.

On October 20 last year, the Ukrainian authorities imposed sanctions against Ukrainian-born singers Ani Lorak, Taisiya Povaliy and Anna Sedokova, as well as TV presenter Regina Todorenko. The restrictions will be in effect for five years. These include asset freezes, trading bans, and the withdrawal of government awards.
