The manufacturer of dietary supplements demanded that the Pharmacy from Warehouse chain be declared bankrupt.

The Kurortmedservice company, which produces dietary supplements, including Bayu-Bai, Borovaya Utera and others, demanded that Godovalov LLC be declared bankrupt. The company operates the Pharmacy from Warehouse network, which has almost 800 points in 24 regions of Russia, and a distributor of medicines. The publication drew attention to the materials of this case in the files of the arbitration court RBC.

The details of this case are not disclosed, however, according to RBC, since 2019, Kurortmedservice has repeatedly sought compensation from Godovalov LLC for the illegal use of its trademarks. In total, during this time, the court decided to recover about 12 million rubles from the company.

Godovalov LLC can also receive a bankruptcy claim from the manufacturer of medical devices Eurocap: in the Unified Federal Register of legally significant information about the activities of legal entities (Fedresurs) there is a card with “the creditor’s intention to file for bankruptcy in court.” In 2023, the owner of Pharmacy from Warehouse became a defendant in 143 cases totaling 1.5 billion rubles.

Sberbank became one of the largest creditors of Godovalov LLC (RUB 183.7 million). A source from RBC reports that Sber is looking for a buyer among large pharmacy chains. The cost of “Pharmacy from Warehouse” and its distributor, according to the publication’s interlocutor, is estimated at 1.5–2 billion rubles. Sberbank itself said that it is interested in “searching for options for debt settlement.”

In recent years, there have been fewer transactions for the sale of pharmacy chains. One of the latest is the expansion of Rigla in the Primorsky Territory. The retailer acquired the regional pharmaceutical chain Pharm, which has 31 pharmacies in Ussuriysk.
