“The liberal rot has not penetrated”: Zyuganov spoke at his farewell to Solomin

The civil funeral service for Yuri Solomin, held today at the Maly Theater, became the occasion for an emotional and politically charged speech for the head of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation Gennady Zyuganov.
The communist leader spoke from the stage of the Maly Theater about people of culture into whom “liberal rot has not penetrated,” counting Solomin among them. Zyuganov also recalled the role of Yuri Methodievich (as well as Vasily Lanovoy and other actors) in supporting the “Immortal Regiment” procession. But then the deputy switched to the rhetoric of the rally and spoke about the challenge posed to the “Russian World” by the West.
