In 2023, Orimi LLC, the main production site of Orimi Group of Companies in the Vsevolozhsk district of the Leningrad region, will increase its production volume by 5–7% compared to 2022, when 85 thousand tons of tea and coffee were produced. The general director of the company, Mikhail Sokolov, spoke about this. The production of coffee capsules will more than double this year. The company explains the growth in volumes by a general increase in coffee and tea consumption in Russia.
“Trade turnover is growing compared to last year, and the consumption of coffee and tea bags is increasing. Capsule coffee production more than doubled after Nespresso left. Our company follows demand trends,” said the company’s general director, Mikhail Sokolov.
GC “Orimi” of Alexander Evnevich is the largest tea producer in Russia with a share of 35%. It ranks 4th in terms of coffee production volumes. The company’s portfolio includes 11 tea and coffee brands, including Greenfield, Tess, Jardin and Jockey.
Retail remains the main sales market for Orimi Group of Companies, they said at the production site in the Leningrad region. The main buyer in the fast food industry is the Vkusno-i Tochka chain, whose production volume in St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region is 200–250 tons per year. The company’s main production site in the Leningrad region was built in 2019.
