The kicksharing market in Russia should triple by 2025

The volume of the market for electric scooter rental services (kicksharing) in Russia will triple by 2025 compared to the result of 2022 and will reach 39.5 billion rubles. The number of trips on electric scooters will also grow by a little more than 3 times – up to 337 million. This is stated in a study of the kicksharing market, prepared by the industry portal on city services Trusharing (available from Vedomosti).
Three key operators are represented in this market in Russia – Yandex Go, Whoosh and Yurent, their combined share in 2022 was almost 94% (an increase of 3 percentage points per year). In total, there are about 40 companies in the country that rent scooters for a minute in more than 170 cities.
