Rushimalliance (a parity joint venture between Gazprom and Rusgazdobycha), the operator of the ethane-containing gas processing and LNG production complex in Ust-Luga, on August 5 filed a claim against the German Unicredit Bank AG in the amount of 45.7 billion rubles. The claim is reported in the file of arbitration cases. It was filed with the Arbitration Court of St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region. The text of the statement of claim has not yet been published, the date of consideration has not been set.
Unicredit is one of the guarantor banks under the Rushimalliance contract with the German oil service company Linde. In 2021, the Russian company signed an EPC contract with a consortium of Linde and Rönesans Heavy Industries (owned by a Turkish company) for the construction of a gas processing complex in Ust-Luga.
