One of the leading concert venues of the capital turned 20 years old
The Moscow International House of Music celebrated its 20th anniversary on December 28. On this occasion, on Wednesday evening, a concert of Russian and foreign musical classics was held, in which the president of the MIDM, People’s Artist of the USSR Vladimir Spivakov, the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Russia and stars of the world stage took part: opera diva Khibla Gerzmava, soloist of the Bolshoi Theater Bekhzod Davronov, soloist of the Mariinsky Theater Vladislav Sulimsky and young pianist Shio Okui (Japan).
To be chronologically accurate, the opening of a new concert venue in the Russian capital took place on December 26, 2002. Then, on the same pre-holiday days, no one knew that the House in the coming decades would become a place of attraction for recognized and future masters, as well as for millions of viewers.
“The most valuable thing in our House today is an atmosphere that gives room for creativity,” says Vladimir Spivakov.
By the way, on the anniversary days, MIDM receives congratulations from outstanding groups, musicians and actors, including from the artists of the Karamazov rock opera, the Alan dance ensemble, and the FEST theater.
“This is a very important address on the map of Moscow, and it is very important to me that this place has gained popularity and significance in a relatively short period of time,” said actor and TV presenter Yegor Druzhinin.
“I want to congratulate the young, young, but already significant in the life of all decent people, the House of Music! 20 years is a great time, a huge amount of energy, amazing fantasies that always come true, an amazing young sense of taste. I wish you prosperity and good luck, ”said the famous actor Nikolai Fomenko in turn.
