Roskomnadzor introduced the HeadHunter job search service in registry organizers of dissemination of information on the Internet (ORI). The project drew attention to this “Roskomsvoboda”.
According to the Yarovaya package, now HeadHunter is obliged to collect, store and provide information about users at the request of the FSB, including internal correspondence.
The Yarovaya Package is the informal name for two laws aimed at combating terrorism. They were adopted in 2016 and regulate new requirements for telecom operators and Internet projects, as well as expand the powers of law enforcement agencies.
HeadHunter is the largest online job search platform in Russia. By data service, 18 million people visit the platform every month. The HeadHunter database contains 61 million resumes.
In total, there are more than 300 organizations in the ARI registry. The list includes: VKontakte, Mail.Ru and Telegram, Yandex services, such as Yandex.Taxi, Yandex.Food and Yandex.Lavka, Sberbank Online and Tinkoff Bank, Tinder and others .
