Based on the results of the first stage of testing the Huska-10 hovercraft, the Rybinsk Shipyard (part of the Kalashnikov concern since 2015) is finalizing some subsystems and devices, said TASS President of the Kalashnikov Concern Alan Lushnikov during the Expotechnostrazh-2023 exhibition.
According to him, the next stage of testing the vessel is planned to be held in late March or early April this year. He said that in December 2022, “Huska-10” for the first time went out to carry out pre-commissioning work on the traffic control system.
He stated that the concern constantly informs the Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Navy about the degree of readiness of the vessel. According to Mr. Lushnikov, the possibility of using the Husky-10 in other law enforcement agencies is also being considered, but so far no proposals have been received from them.
“Huska-10” was created within the framework of the state program of the Ministry of Industry and Trade “Development of shipbuilding and equipment for the development of offshore fields for 2013-2030.” This vessel is designed for civil use with a payload of 10 tons and for transport operations in the shallow part of the northern seas and hard-to-reach areas of the far north. website concern.
