“After 17 years, Tim Talkington, Co-Head of Goldman Sachs in Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) and Head of Global Markets in Russia and the CIS, will leave the firm at the end of the year,” the email said.

Talkington was born on January 15, 1965 in Texas. Prior to joining Goldman Sachs, he worked as Research Analyst and Senior Conglomerate, Telecommunications and Media Analyst at Global Securities in Turkey, EMEA Conglomerate Analyst at UK-based Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette International, and 2000 to 2002 he headed the EMEA research department at Goldman Sachs International. Talkington has been managing global markets in Russia and the CIS at Goldman Sachs Bank since 2014, was a director of the Goldman Sachs broker and dealer in Russia from 2011 to 2020, for the last two years he was the chief executive officer of Goldman Sachs Bank in Moscow.
