The head of Gazprom Neft Dyukov announced plans to pay interim dividends

General Director of Gazprom Neft PJSC Alexander Dyukov said that the company will most likely decide to pay dividends based on the results of January–September 2023. At the same time, he noted that Gazprom Neft does not plan to buy back shares from non-residents, and investments will remain at the 2022 level.
“Do we plan to pay? This is a decision of the board of directors and shareholders. Most likely, yes, such a decision will be made. In general, first nine months must be completed, the results must be summed up, and after that the board of directors will make a decision,” Mr. Dyukov said on the sidelines of the TNF Industrial and Energy Forum (quoted by TASS).
However, the company has no plans to buy back shares from non-residents. “We don’t plan. We have a very small free float of shares. And even in this volume, foreign investors have a minimal share,” noted Alexander Dyukov. He also added that Gazprom Neft intends to maintain the volume of the investment program in 2023 at the level of last year.
Net profit of Gazprom Neft according to IFRS in the first half of the year decreased by 40.1% compared to the same period in 2022, to RUB 304.413 billion. At the end of June, the meeting of Gazprom Neft shareholders approved the recommendation of the board of directors to pay dividends for 2022 in the amount of 81.94 rubles. per share taking into account interim dividends (RUB 69.78 per share).
