Russian President Vladimir Putin held a meeting with the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bamtonnelstroy-Most company (BTS-Most) Ruslan Baysarov. He invited the head of state to take part in the demolition of the second Dusse-Alinsky tunnel in the Khabarovsk Territory.
“Vladimir Vladimirovich, you took part in the demolition of the second Baikal tunnel. We will have a breakdown of the second Dusse-Alinsky tunnel. Please take part,” said Mr. Baysarov (quoted from Kremlin website).
He said that the 2 km long tunnel is being built in a permafrost zone. Because of this, “not a single shield passes there.”
Ruslan Baysarov added that Bamtonnelstroy-Most has begun construction of the metro in Krasnoyarsk. In addition, the company completed the construction of a cable-stayed bridge on the M-12 Vostok highway in the Vladimir region. Mr. Baysarov also reported on the design of a railway bridge between Russia and China in the Amur region.
In the Khabarovsk Territory, the company also began construction of an art museum where about 17 thousand works will be stored. According to Ruslan Baysarov, this will be the largest museum in the Far East. Construction is scheduled to be completed in 2027.
