After partying on March 8, fans of the light dance alternative, intoxicated by the beginning of spring, had the chance to attend the first big Moscow concert of the tAiSh group. This team occupies an important place among the projects of Leonid Burlakov, known as the producer of Mumiy Troll and The Brothers Grim, and therefore almost legendary. Therefore, it is understandable that not only music lovers, but also industry professionals are paying attention to what new things we will hear and see performed by this group.
Ironically, the active work of Tais Logvinenko, the frontwoman of a young rock band, began just before the pandemic, so concert life had to be suspended for a while. But Thais still released an album, and more than one. She already has both solo albums and two records as part of the group. Soon the girl went on maternity leave altogether, however, the pregnancy period was also creative for her; the artist continued to catch inspiration, write and record. Last summer we managed to release the successful disco single “Piggy Bank” based on the poems of the fashionable poet Sola Monova, and in the fall the track “Luka’s Smile” dedicated to our newborn son was released. “ZD” also monitored these creative movements, waiting for the full concert premiere.
During the concert, a video was broadcast on the screens above the stage, assembled from video recordings of sweet moments in the life of the baby, who will turn one in a month. Young mothers usually superstitiously protect images of small children, some even cover their faces on social networks. It was all the more surprising to observe such unprecedented openness of the artist; the public admired her Luka from the heart. At the very beginning of the song “Mom Draw,” the artist’s mother, who was in the audience, appeared on stage. The audience, of course, again shed tears of emotion… The assembled fans also watched the guests from among the musicians. For example, several songs in a concert with the group tAiSh were played by Evgeniy “Shift” Zvidenny, the former bassist of Mumiy Troll. But the “native” musicians also sounded no worse than the stars, demonstrating high-quality teamwork, which only added advantages to the emotional disco-rock-n-roll show, despite the fact that the sound equipment, also apparently shocked by the joy of the premiere, sometimes fell into its own emotional trance.
