Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said that the government could compensate 80% of the funds for the revision of domestic software for enterprises instead of imported ones.

“The government is ready to compensate customers for most, up to 80%, of the funds needed to refine the core of the product according to their requirements, respectively. We will allocate special grants for such purposes,” Mr. Mishustin said at the strategic session in the government.

Co-financing for the introduction of domestic software is provided if the company has purchased foreign software and suffered losses because of this. However, in this case, the company must completely abandon foreign software.

In April, a program was launched to compensate 50% of the cost of purchasing domestic software for small and medium-sized businesses. Within its framework, more than 130 products from 29 Russian manufacturers were available.

On July 11, the office of Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko reported that 37.1 billion rubles would be allocated from the budget to co-finance the transition to Russian software. until 2024. The order for software import substitution was assigned to 35 industrial centers of competence.
