The government has expanded measures to support the machine tool industry

Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin signed a decree according to which state-owned companies and organizations that purchase certain types of machine tool products will have to pay an advance payment of 80% of the order value. This measure will allow manufacturers to increase the capacity and volume of products, transmits government press office.
“Buyers of machine tools from among state-owned companies and state organizations will have to advance deliveries in the amount of at least 80% of the order value. The decree on this was signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.
The published document lists ten items of such products: these are machine tools for laser metal processing, for stone and wood processing, machining centers, as well as turning, boring and milling metal-cutting machines.
The government also noted that the program for subsidizing the machine tool industry was previously expanded, and manufacturers of industrial robots and robotic devices were included in it from next year.
