The overall production plan of the Kalashnikov concern has increased by 60% over the past two years, the press service of the holding reported. In addition, Kalashnikov stated that the implementation of the state defense order for the same period was 100%.

“The team is making every effort to provide the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation with both new models of weapons and traditional weapons adopted in previous years,” said Alan Lushnikov, president of Kalashnikov (quote from site concern).

According to him, the Chukavin sniper rifle – SHF, the AK-19 assault rifle, and the Kalashnikov PPK-20 submachine gun are now being actively developed. Mr. Lushnikov specified that the economic effect of cost reduction in the first half of 2023 exceeded 300 million rubles.
